Employee Safety Training
UNE's goal is to create, maintain and enhance a safe and healthful environment for all individuals associated with the institution including students, faculty, employees, and visitors.
A training program was established to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental health and safety standards. The Office of Environmental Health and Safety provides health and safety training, information, and compliance assistance.
The employing department shall define which positions within their department require training and ensure that employees attend the specified training. Employees are expected to attend all required trainings and observe established policies.
We have created the University of New England Training Requirements (PDF) outlining the types of training employees need.
